You might be interested to know that the image than adorns every #hospitweet post is actually the view from Ward C5N looking north-east towards home (Llanishen). Immediately in the foreground are buildings associated with Cardiff University at the University Hospital of Wales (The Heath), Cardiff. The trees are those of Cyncoed on the east side of Roath Park Lake.
This page is also the placeholder for two images of the scars of my operation, taken c.6 weeks afterwards. You have been warned. There is however a nice photograph of a chocolate heart on the same page as a “sweetener”. 🙂
