Anyone who knows me, knows that I’m a bit of a twitterholic, and that I’ve found that tool invaluable in keeping in touch with professional colleagues mainly, but also in being able to exchange items of social discourse in passing, so that I feel I’ve got to know them better as people as well.
Well, one aspect of using twitter is using hashtags. When I declared that I was going to have my operation a twitter colleague suggested the hashtag #hospitweet and so a number of tweets using the sadly demised twitter followed with that tag.
It seemed only fair to name the blog that I created when I went into hospital for cardiac surgery after that hashtag.
