Apologies for the long-title to this short post, but this latest post from Malcolm Kendrick is SO timely, I just had to share it with you and the title just seemed to say it all, as I decided NOT to have an angiogram with the possibility of stenting just three weeks ago today.
In essence the article quotes research that states that Stenting (PCI) has no measurable benefit with stable angina presentations – it is no better than a placebo ( how did they do that); the post also returns to refer to an earlier message that CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Graft) might not always be the best way to handle blockages.
Read and then consider, reflect, think and frame the questions you might unfortunately need to ask at some time in the future.
