Westonbirt colours

A trip to Westonbirt Arboretum as October comes to an end presented as a slideshow.

Jenny and I, with friends Alec and Angie, had a day out at Westonbirt last Thursday. Not the best day in terms of light to enjoy the autumn colours, but at least a dry day! Surprisingly – it being half-term – it was not overly busy, so we wandered in relative peace and quiet around this wonderful woodland.

Gorgeous colours. I’d like to take a trip to an arboretum, maybe next year now as it ‘finally’ feels like Winter is trying to make an appearance.

If you go on the Forestry Commission website you can chart the progress of the autumn colours at all their plantations
