Here’s a short video of the view we had from the veranda of Dad’s Cottage at The Granary – looking towards Mount Roland. We met up with DeeJay and Penny in Launceston after they’d flown into Hobart and driven up. Then we drove towards Sheffield and Cradle Mountain.
The main trip we did during our stay there was to Cradle Mountain. Pete, Shells and the children followed on later and just did a short walk near to the visitor centre; DeeJay and Penny walked to near the summit of Cradle Mountain; Jenny and I walked round Dove Lake, beneath Cradle Mountain.
